Project Description:

 

This project is about offloading/migrating some of the Airline functionality currently written in Mainframe environment (TPF) to Open system environment. It will involve working with Google Developers and Employees, as it is a joint project with Google.

What you will do:

 

 

  • Develop, execute and analyze tests in support of mainframe offload
  • Advocate and evangelize QA throughout the team and with stakeholders
  • Create and support current test automation framework using python or java and appropriate technologies e.g., selenium
  • Analyze and develop a testing approach for new features of the system under test
  • Create manual test case scenarios, estimate and implement automated tests
  • Participate in the code review process, analyzing the code of other team members
  • Support existing automated test cases
  • Test environment support

What you need for this project:

  • Experience in Quality Assurance area (4+ years)
  • Airline/travel agency domain/industry experience
  • High-level understanding of Software Testing Process/ Methodology with automation experience (familiarity with TestNG, Cucumber & Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design, and execution
  • Experience testing web services
  • Familiar with XML
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies, Scrum in particular
  • Upper-Intermediate English and excellent communication skills
  • Punctuality, eagerness to learn, analytical mind and ability to cope with time pressure
